What you need: Twenty-three toilet paper cardboard tubes, sturdy cardboard for a triangular backing, green acrylic paint, a brush, scissors, a pencil, a ruler, a hot glue gun, forty-five small red and gold shatterproof baubles, a gold star, gold bead garland, small ribbon bows and strong hanging cord.
How to make it: Cut each toilet paper tube crosswise into two equal halves. Paint the cylinders green inside and out and let them dry. Cut a triangular cardboard backing and paint its front green. Glue forty-five tube halves onto it in nine centered rows, from one cylinder at the top to nine at the bottom, keeping every opening facing forward. Secure a small bauble inside each cylinder, then add the star, bead garland and bows. Attach a reinforced hanging loop to the backing and let the glue set completely before hanging.
